When I first came to see Dr. Lewis, my entire left leg was numb after having back sugery because of a herniated disk at L4-L5. I suffered with this numbness for almost two years. I also suffered with migraine headaches for 20 years and acid reflux for 10 years.

I had difficulties walking and bending over to tie my shoes. My migraines would stop me in my tracks. They would come on suddenly and I would be unable to think, drive, or see clearly because of the pain. My acid reflux kept me up all night at times and I was unable to eat some of my favorite foods like cucumbers and nuts.

I tried everything for my back pain that I could think of; heat, ice, lying on the floor, sleeping in a chair. I would not take medications for any of my symptoms because I feared the medications that the other doctors tried to give me because of the side effects and addictions that these medications could cause. Eventually I gave in and had surgery on my lower back.

After the surgery was performed I thought I would regain the feeling in my left leg but I was told that my leg would always be numb and to get used to it because it would be my normal from now on.

The spinal adjustments that Dr. Lewis has given me have been a miracle for my numb left leg, migraines and acid reflux! The numbness is almost totally gone and with continued care I am sure it will become normal again. I can sleep in my own bed again and I can walk normally and bend over to tie my shoes without pain. I haven’t had any acid reflux since beginning my treatments and I am able to eat my favorite foods again. I have gone several months without any migraines and I used to get them all the time!

My health and well-being have improved dramatically without the use of narcotices and that is a miracle to me. I have always feared drugs and I believe there are techniques out thee to help people live a better and healthier life without drugs.
