Regular Visits

Avoid relapse with regular visits.

Your treatment will be designed to "retrain" your body into health.  The Zone adjustments are safe, easy, painless, and effective.  When your doctor finds a Zone disturbance he will then check the corresponding vertebrae in your back for tenderness, decreased flexibility and nerve interference, known as a subluxation.

Subluxation/Interference: Subluxation is a spinal misalignment causing nerve impingement, which interferes with the normal signals traveling to your organs and muscles.  This impingement creates pain and dis-ease by interfering with the healthy nerve signals traveling from your brain to the six Zones of the body.

Your Zone Doctor will remove the nerve interference from the vertebrae that are subluxated in each Zone.  This allows the proper information to get from the brain to the organs and muscles.  Your body begins to create health when the proper nerve signals flow freely back and forth from your brain to your body.  Tissues that may have been damaged or have not functioned properly in the past have a much better chance of repairing themselves.  Also, your immune system is able to more accurately and quickly remove viruses and bacteria from the body.

A typical office visit is a comprehensive treatment designed to be as efficient as possible. The nature of chiropractic treatment and the fact that most health challenges have been developing over several years requiring the "retraining" of muscles and ligaments, generally means multiple visits to our office are required.

We want to make sure that your visits are efficient and are designed to be minimally invasive to your daily routine.  We don't want you to miss out on great results because your treatment is inconvenient.

We also perform re-examinations every 12 visits.  We do this to monitor your progress and determine if you are on the right course of treatment and that you are getting the results we are both after.

Progressive rehab helps strengthen to avoid relapses.

Dr. Lewis Asks some important questions of interest to Pasadena residents - Chiropractor Pasadena Dr. Lewis Asks...

Can someone who has had back surgery receive chiropractic care?
Yes. Rest assured that we will avoid the surgically modified areas of your spine. However, what we find is that surgical interventions will often produce spinal instability above or below the involved level. This is will be the focus of your chiropractic care.
What is the purpose of pain?
Pain prompts many Pasadena folks to begin chiropractic care. But pain isn't the problem! Pain is just how your body alerts you that a limit has been reached (or exceeded), that something isn't working right and that some type of change is needed. As a chiropractor, my job is finding the underlying cause and recommending the changes needed to bring your body back into balance.
